On November 3, 2022, Huaxing participated in the "9th Municipal Waste Incineration Technology and Equipment Seminar" held by China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.
The 9th Municipal Waste Incineration Technology and Equipment Seminar hosted by China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association was held in Hangzhou. The seminar attracted representatives from competent authorities, universities, research institutes, enterprises, and experts to discuss technical ways to improve resource utilization efficiency, display cutting-edge products and equipment in the field of waste incineration. The low-carbon, green and healthy development of the waste incineration industry were jointly promoted.
Focusing on the opportunities and challenges of clean incineration under the new development pattern, representatives from industry competent authorities, entrepreneurs, and experts discussed hot topics such as the market pattern of municipal waste incineration in China, WTE enterprises' challenges and breakthrough approaches under the "dual-carbon" targets, and the “bottom line thinking method” of waste incineration project management.
Li Lei, Director of Hangzhou Municipal Urban Administration, delivered a welcome speech. Wen Xuefeng, Deputy Director of the Department of Solid Waste and Chemicals of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Zhao Penggao, Deputy Director of the Department of Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection of the National Development and Reform Commission, and Yang Hongyi, Deputy Director of the Department of Urban Construction of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech through online connection. Xu Wenlong, President of China Urban Sanitation Association, thanked the leaders, guests and representatives attending the meeting and introduced the work of the Association. Liu Jinghao, Vice President and Secretary General of China Urban Sanitation Association presided over the main forum of the seminar.

Focusing on the theme of the forum, the opportunities and challenges of clean incineration under the new development pattern, Chairman Wu made a wonderful speech of "Exploration on the BAT of Flue Gas Cleaning for Municipal Waste Incineration in China", which is favourable and praised in the forum participants.

On the basis of the report of the forum, the participants had a warm exchange and discussion on the pain points and solutions in the development of the waste incineration industry. The next day, the China Urban Environmental Sanitation Association held four special sub-forums, including the discussion on the domestic and international development status of sub-municipal waste incineration, science and technology leading to help the high-quality development of solid waste disposal, the Little Bee Public Welfare Forum for Environmental Protection, and the Innovation and Development Forum for Environmental Sanitation Management and Facility Supervision, to understand policies, analyze problems, exchange experiences, develop strategies, summarize achievements, explore future development, and promote the sustainability & high quality development of the municipal waste incineration industry. In the sub-forums, on the discussion of domestic and international development status of sub-municipal waste incineration, Huaxing's chief engineer Wu Zhiqiang gave a wonderful speech on "Selection of Flue Gas Cleaning process and cost control for sub-municipal waste incineration plants".

In the exhibition part of the forum, Huaxing demonstrated the advanced technology, equipment, management experience, and benchmark performance of waste incineration, which further promoted mutual learning, discussion, and exchange between the peers and customers.
